| The Variace ensemble
was founded in the Spring 1997 by members of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra
and their friends. Variace endeavors to underline its concerts with a colorful
dramatisation trough presenting compositions which are not very common,
with uncommon instrumentation. Although focusing predominantly on 20th -century
music, the ensemble likes to bring today's music into context with the works
of composers of the classicism and romantism periods. |
